A dental implant mimics the form and function of a natural tooth. When a tooth cannot be saved or a patient has lost their teeth, replacing it with an implant is usually the best course of treatment.  Dental implants can be used for single or multiple teeth restorations.

Implants consist of three basic parts: (1)implant – artificial root, a titanium construction, the root that is placed in the jaw bone, (2) abatement and (3) visual part – crown of the implant. The implant is fitted into a socket that we create in your jaw. Once the root heals and dental implants are fully naturalized, dental crown, bridge or non-removable prosthesis can be made. The latter are custom made in our lab to match your bite and the color of your teeth. You should visit your doctor to clean your implants in every six months.  In case of proper care, the implant that replaces lost tooth lasts for 25 years.
